The sound we are seeking:
If you are an artist and wish to release with RIR please read the following. RIR is NOT looking for (harsh) noise to release. There are plenty of good large and small labels out there where you can do that. We rather look for material at the interface of noise/industrial/PE. We do not mind material containing percussion but we do not accept EBM/Coldwave type material. So in short, if you do structured industrial noise and you have a vision of experimentally extending the boundaries, you are welcome here.
How to submit your work for review:
All material will be subject to review before RIR will commit itself to releasing it. Review not only includes some sort of subjective quality control, but rather also seeks to identify whether or not the material would suit the goals of RIR. If you think you have some material together, please format your material as 128 mp3 and submit it electronically for review. The easiest is to use yousendit.com and submit the link to griebeno at adam dot uprr dot pr. Please do NOT try to send CDRs to us. That is a waste of time and money.
Release formats:
Material accepted for release will be either made available as on-line mp3 release or as limited edition CDR. It is preferred by us the artist supplies the artwork for the CD cover etc. We will discuss the release format with the artists in every case and seek the best solution for artist/label.
